Philanthropy as a Calling: A Message from Nana Adwoa Amankwah Pam I

Nana Adwoa Amankwah Pam I - Founder of Queennaap Foundation

I am Nana Adwoa Amankwah Pam I (Nsuontem Nkosuohemaa), also known as Benedicta Edusei-Poku. I was born in Kumasi to Mr. Isaac Antwi Edusei and Madam Mercy Appiah. In June 2023, I was enstooled as the Nkosuohemaa (Development Queen) of Nsuontem in the Afigya Kwabre North District.

My journey includes childhood education at Amankwatia Primary, Akosa M/A JHS, Osei Kyeretwie Secondary School, and nursing studies at Premier Nursing. On March 5, 2012, I traveled to the United States where I trained and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Throughout my life, I have carried a deep love and passion for helping others. The scripture “Give, and it shall be given unto you” guides my life and mission.

I believe education is essential for success. No child should be denied education due to poverty. Our elders deserve care and recognition. Our youth require empowerment to reach their full potential.

I established the Queennaap Foundation to provide hope and opportunity to children, the elderly, and disadvantaged populations. On April 21, 2025, we launched with our first major donation at Nsuontem D/A School, distributing educational materials, sanitary pads, and clothing.

I invite you to join us — whether through volunteering, partnerships, sponsorships, or donations. Together, we can build a brighter future for Nsuontem and beyond.
